Short Stay Program
Any volunteer and Gap Year program less than 3 months are considered Short Stays.
During Your Stay
You can choose to only work on your placement or to include a short trip at the end of your stay to either Mombasa or Masai Mara. We would recommend that you take the opportunity to explore a different part of Kenya a little bit at the end of your placement. This trip will be included in your itinerary and budget. Should you opt-out of the trip, but change your mind during your stay, we can still arrange a trip for you. However, it is always wiser to arrange ahead in order to secure a good space and get the best rates.
Kobe will connect you with a relevant placement according to the information you share in your application. Placements include arts, medicine, welfare, education, and sports.
Giving Back
By the end of your stay, you will have either participated in a project that will help the local community or personally create or design something that will benefit the community.
