Kobe Kenya is a family-owned travel company founded in the beautiful county of Nakuru, Kenya.
The name “Kobe” means tortoise in Swahili and also happens to be one of our favourite animals. Kobe Kenya arranges the
travel itinerary for guests and volunteers looking to travel to East
Africa.

Kobe Kenya originally only facilitated travel for volunteers and Gap Year students but now also offers packages for travelers wishing to tour Kenya and Zanzibar.
With over six years of experience in the tourism industry, and personally being lifelong lovers of travel and the great outdoors, we are so excited to be able to share the hidden gems we have come to know and love with our guests. From the snowy peaks of Mt. Kenya to the glorious Wildebeest migration in the Mara, Kenya is such a beautiful place to explore. Get ready to make loads of special memories and hopefully new friends too.
Gap Year Travel
We facilitate gap year travel and supervision of students and volunteers placed in organisations and schools in Nakuru County, Kenya. We ensure the safety and travel arrangements of all volunteers are covered during their entire stay, and may also supervise volunteers if asked to do so by their school or guardians. Volunteers are supervised either by a representative of Kobe Kenya or staff member at the placement during their stay.
Safari Packages
Kobe Kenya offers Safari Packages that will arrange your travel across Kenya – through Masai Mara, Nanyuki, and Naivasha – and to the gorgeous beaches of Zanzibar. We also offer Golf Safaris where golfers can visit our favourite Kenyan Golf Clubs to enjoy a game during their trip. Guests can also opt for a custom safari if they have a specific itinerary they would like to cover.
